Communication & Reporting

School App

You can download our school app to your smartphone to receive regular updates and SZapp for iPhones and Androids. This can also be downloaded to your iPad. For Android phone users, please visit the Google Play Store.

Schoolzine also is the school’s communication tool for the newsletter which comes out each fortnight. This is sent to parents via email.

Seesaw is used to communicate with parents about the children’s work and events. It is also a digital platform for showing growth in their learning. Parents can communicate with their child’s teachers through this platform. School announcements are made on this platform too however the office staff cannot receive replies from parents. If parents need to respond to a school announcement they must email the individual directly or contact the school office by phone.

Report Cards

Reports are handed out to families at the end of Term 2 and Term 4.

St Joseph's Primary School Social Media Community Guidelines

These guidelines are in place to help create a safe environment on all social media channels run by St Joseph's Primary School. Our social media channels aim to create an environment where our community can safely engage in conversation and is free to make comments, questions and suggestions. We ask that anyone engaging with our social media channels show courtesy, kindness and respect for all other members of our school and social media communities. By engaging with our social media channels, you agree to follow these guidelines. Comments must not: Contain spam, be defamatory of any person, deceive others, be obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, hateful, inflammatory or promote sexually explicit material or violence. Breach any of the terms of any of the social media platforms themselves. Be off-topic, irrelevant or unintelligible. Contain any advertising or promote any services that are not first approved by St Joseph's Primary School or are unrelated to St Joseph's Primary School.
